For sale is one vintage front Schwinn Approved brake, stamped “Schwinn Approved – TYPE LS 2.4” on the front. This is an original used part removed from a vintage Schwinn bicycle.
This brake fit many vintage Schwinn road bikes including the Schwinn Varsity, Suburban, Continental, and similar models. It will not fit Schwinn Stingray, Krate, Fastback, or other similar style bicycles.
Condition is used and shows normal signs of age and prior use, including scratches, dents, oxidation, and other cosmetic wear.
Please note: these brakes were manufactured in different countries depending on production period. Some are stamped “Made in Japan,” some “Made in Switzerland,” and some “Made in Germany.” This listing is for one brake only, and the country marking on the brake you receive may vary depending on current inventory
