Vintage ARAYA 20 x 1.75 BMX Bicycle Rim 36H Japan NOS Old School Silver
For sale is one vintage ARAYA 20 x 1.75 BMX bicycle rim, made in Japan.
The rim is stamped:
ARAYA
20 X 1.75
JAPAN
There is also a small “M” stamp on the rim as shown in the photos. I am not sure what this marking represents.

- 14-gauge spokes should be appropriate; correct spoke length will depend on the hub and lacing pattern
IMPORTANT CONDITION INFORMATION:
These rims originally came to me as complete NOS wheels that had never been installed or ridden on a bicycle. I removed the original spokes and hubs and am now selling the rims separately.
Because the rims were previously laced with spokes, there may be marks, impressions, scratches, or other signs around the spoke holes from the original spoke nipples. This does not mean the rim was ridden or used on a bicycle.
The rims are still being sold as NOS / New Old Stock, but they are vintage items that have been stored for many years. They may also have scratches, scuffs, small marks, discoloration, or other cosmetic shelf/storage wear from age, handling, and storage.

This is a multiple-quantity listing. The rim shown in the photos is being used as an example of the rims available. Buyer will receive one rim in similar overall condition to the one pictured. The exact amount and location of shelf wear, spoke-nipple marks, scratches, and other cosmetic imperfections may vary from rim to rim.
